is there a better spring that I can use with the LT4 spring hardware. I don't want the valve float issues that come with the LT1 valves and LT4 springs. but I own all the hardware and would really like to use the stuff if possible

I dont know for a fact, but I have heard the stock GM valves float around the redline

I ran stock valves with LT4 retainers and K-Motion springs for a couple of seasons without issues (7000+ rpm).
