Default question on LT1 frontend to LS1 frontend

Ok I have been doing the tear down process, but here's my question. Do I need a new impact bar and absorbtion pad? I thought someone said the LS1 is different, but damn this looks like it would work with the LS1 front bumper. Problem is I just purchased a front bumper and it's not here yet so I can't see if it bolts on, otherwise I wouldn't be writing this lol. Well if the ls1 front bumper doesn't go with the LT1 impact bar and absorbtion please someone correct me. Cause I don't want to take it off, just to put it back on.

Thanks,
Dave

I appreciate it, but I've seen that before. The only problem is that he leaves out a lot of key information, like what I'm asking here lol.

The only thing I am concerned about is making my car look like **** lol. I don't want to half *** this. I'm concerned that not having that impact bar and absorb pad will allow the nose to flex a lot. Meaning you push down on it and the damn thing nearly caves in.

I'm going to do a little more exploring, thanks again for all the help though, I alawys like to here what everyone else has to say, before hand.

Yeah I had looked into the conversion for my turbo car and I had found out the two types are not interchangeable. After I settled on a combo for mine, it eliminated the need for the support anyway since I have to put an intercooler there.

I am still running all that stuff up front, I want as much front-end coverage as possible with the way the Tards drive here..
