weighed 3820 with me in it last time at Motorplex.

I'll have the lighter Weld wheels and 8.8 rear end next time instead of heavy *** 17" WS6 wheels and stock rear so maybe a lil lighter, who knows.

It is a fully loaded 97 T/A with rear seats, belts, AC, lil flip down thing in back, all 4 floor mats, 12 disc CD changer in truck, full windsheild washer fluid, etc, etc, etc.

I have SFC's but also removed the spare and jack so that is almost a wash.

Maybe get it loser to 3700-3750 lbs with the lighter front runner and 15x10 Weld wheels with QTP's but not real sure of weight difference in rear ends (8.8 vs stock 7.5).

No roll bar so I might have limited track time. I was reminded about the 11.49 cage rule after every pass last time (11.55, 11.54, 11.53).

nice numbers through an a4. I love the fact that the car runs so well at such a heavy weight. Question for ya. How much power do you think is being gained by the addition cubes? Would the powerband be lower with the 383 than a 355 with all other variable being equal?

383 and 355 will make the same HP but the 383 peaks about 400 RPM lower (6200 vs 6600 RPM) and has more area under the curve on HP and TQ.

In a lighter car with some gear and stall, the 355 is actually a better choice since it is not RPM limited like a 383.

What's up Lloyd - you built my heads and cam last year, then my bottem end went out, so I ended up building it to a 383 stroker with a forged bottem end. I finally got to dyno it this last weekend and it only made 384 rwhp. I was expecting more, but he said the timing is off, and it's running rich, so sending it back in to Bryan Herter. ****, maybe I'll just invest in LT1Edit.

that comming from some1 that knows what they are talking about...most people say no replacement for displacement...
guess the lt1 intake and heads are just too much of a restriction for a bigger motor...
