Camaro LT1, H/C/I Package? Where? WHERE!?
Can someone PLEASE point me in a direction to find a H/C or H/C/I package that will get me around 400+whp, 425+lbs??? I'm trying to figure out whether to buy a cheaper LT1 camaro or spend a little more and get a LS1... with either car, i wanted to upgrade the H/C setup but it looks to be impossible to find a solid LT1 package without dissecting the internet... maybe its just me. let me know though, please!
P.S i've found 10280398045804398 posts about LS1 H/C setups... just looking for the LT1 setups... thanks

I misread the post, I thought you where syaing 425 RWHP. I now see you initally said TQ. Sorry I missed the mark by 6 pounds. Perhaps I should put my 10 bolt back in for a dyno pass that proves you wrong, but what would be the point.
You are right, most people don't want solid rollers. I am sure if any one asked if they should run a solid roller you would be among the first in line to reinforce every misconception on SR cams. I just feel sorry for the person who would take your advise seriously. I know from experiance that a properly set up SR will provide a very stable power band, and be stellar from 5,000 RPM on up (in my case all the way up to 7,000+ RPM).
Are you still having "ignition/electrical" problems? I know your set up fell appart over 5,000 RPM. I suspect it's mechanical, but I am sure you know enough about this stuff to not need my help. After all, only a fool would run a solid roller on a street car.... right?
Spyderman25: There is no way for you to get the answer you want. There are a few vendors that can get you what you want. The best advice I can give you is; Find a car that runs the #'s you want and copy it, but that is going to take some dissecting. Good luck with your quest, but be careful of the "internet experts". If I went along with every thing I read on the web I would not have the set up I have now.

400rwhp or tq is not hard on a hydraulic motor,Heads that flow 260+ can get that easy,itīs all in the right cam add a Deltec or LTCC and you will make alot more
SR is noisier, needs valve adjustment at x miles,Is better for high RPM and has higher friction so itīs not the best for a DD but nothing wrong with it,HD is just better for DD
