Im swapping my v6 to a LT1 later this yr. Now im lookin for a Harness that will work with a 97 pcm from a Z28 since i want the car to keep the odb2. Will the harness's from the 96/97 cars b the only ones that work for this set up?

 

Yep, if you want to run a 97-97 PCM you need to match the harness to the same year and options.

 

what do u mean by same options?

 

ABS and TCS -OR- ABS only, M6 or A4, etc. Shouldnt need to worry about the in-car harness as its seperate from the engine/transmission harness.

 

alright thanks....just out of curiousity how come a 96's harness wont work...cuz in my v6 i took a 97 pcm and put it in my 96 cuz the 96 could not b used with hp tuners
