Need part numbers and engine shop
I'm planning on using my $1500 tax return, and doing the following things.
I have a 218/224 cam in the garage. I want that in.
I need to pull the factory iron heads, I want to change the valvesprings out, for the beehives probably. I also have to get 2 exhaust manifold bolts cleared out.
I want to get a set of the budget headers from Clear Image for $275.
I'll get my PCM reflashed by Herter again to adjust for the cam.
Is there anything I'm missing in the top of the engine repairs and buildup?
Things I don't want to do, 1. change to aluminum heads. The irons are perfect for my needs. 2. I don't need to hear about gears, I have 3.42's. 3. I don't need to hear about a stall, I've got one coming off a parts car that's a 2800 or so.
I live in Melbourne, Florida now, and have no idea if there's any good shops in the area. The vehicle is a 96 Fleetwood
