Well, I know that the one I replaced (on the wrong side ) was the square type... I just don't know which one, typed 1-4 are all square. I guess the question I should really be asking is where the rear O2 on the left side actually is I have had absolutely no time to get under my car!

Shouldn't be hard to spot. It will be after your cat on the left side. So just jack it up and stick your head under the engine side. I would suggest taking it out and look at that diagram to see what type it is. It should be type 1,3, or 5

On my '97 the rear O2s are square type, the fronts are flat type connectors.
