Look and seeeeee! I'm just going to use the kit that comes with my PaceSetters. A little solder here and some shrink wrap there and you're done. I'm cheap

Don't waste teh $$ on 02 sims, just get a tune. You won't pick up much power with headers alone since they will throw your tune pretty far off.

I wasn't thinking straight...it's late and I've had a few. I was referring to the extensions above. For sims, I say screw it. I can tune them out right away, but if you can't, just deal with the SES light until you can get a tune.

It won't run right if the SES is on.

the only significant change because of the ses light is your fans will always be running

Ok, it's kinda hard to crawl under the car when it's not at my house, otherwise I already would have done so... lol. The only reason I'm bothering getting a sim is to pass the state emissions scan and get rid of the SES. When I get a tune I'm doing it with an OBD1 swap and that won't pass the scan either... One ecu to pass, one to actually use

What other sensors don't I need that I can unplug?

Aren't we talking about rear o2's? All they do is see if the cat is working. It has no control over A/F ratio.

I'm not 100% positive if the REAR o2's use a flat connector (type 5) or a square one. I know the fronts are. I'm '94 so I never seen myself. Someone 96-97 needs to chime in.

I can't see the point in having a rear sensor if all it does is make sure the cat is fine. That's like having someone sit and watch a huge boulder to make sure it doesn't move. Sure, eventually it's going to move, but not for a few thousand years heh So you're just going to be replacing the people watching it every time they die, for something that you know won't happen for eons.

because when cats go bad you want to know. your car will perform like absolute **** if it gets clogged, that and it wont satisfy emissions testings.

Tell that to the Federal folks who write the emissions laws. GM didn't put them there because they wanted to.
