The b-body hub/damper combo will be a bit further away from the motor and won't line up with an F-body accessory bracket.
The fbody hub damper combo is different than the B-body which is different from the Y-body.
What you could do is space out the f-body accessory bracket whatever distance needed to line up with the b-body damper. Shouldn't be much more than 1/2"

well actually i dont have the fbody accessory bracket. i have the b body bracket but need a hub and balancer. i found a good deal on the hub/balancer, but is from a 96 f body, which is why im thinking it will not work.

Right. that won't work.
The bbody bracket will not line up with the fbody hub/damper. The fbody hub/damper will be closer to the engine than if you had the bbody hub/damper.
