LT1 Buildup
LT1 Buildup rebuilding a LT1 from ground up and need some opinions to finish. i will have a fully machined block .030 over, arp main stud kit, forged pistons around 10.5:1 compression, fully ported stock heads with 2.00 and 1.56 valves, fully ported and gasket matched intake, and 28.8 lb LS1 injectors. i thought of going with the hot cam kit, but not sure if a comps cam will deliver better numbers and driveability. i don't have a mass air sensor yet, and don't know if i should buy aftermarket or pick up a stock one. is the 48mm stock throttle body sufficient or upgrade to 52mm?? motor never came with distributor so can i choose between optiI or optiII?? any help is greatly appreciated.
