Hi Everyone,

My car has been idling with more vibration and when I listen closely, It sounds like pop corn is popping undernear where the gear shift is (maybe slightly closer to the engine)

What is this sound? Is it related to the problems im encountering in this post?

I am going to go along the lines of - you could have damaged the 1st/reverse gear in there..

Or, your car is like mine and your motor mounts look just fine until you take them out and they fall in half..

I used to have a sound like that when i broke my trans mount also..
