in need of some opinions i have a 95 camaro v8 5.7 ....i want to keep it a daily driver with some speed for those mustangs who want to step up so what upgrades can i do to the car ? thnx
throw 4:10 in it also, I think the factory is 3:42 but I might be wrong, I have a 94 Z28 and so far that's what I got and you know what !! them GTs are always behind :
1-Cold Air (More HP)
2-Hooker Compitition Headers. (More HP)
3-Air Foil (More air-HP)
4-UMI tourqe Arm (Better Traction-quicker take off)
5-UMI rear Lower Control Arms/ Panhard Bar (With 4:10 they are a must)
6-1.6 Rocker Arms.
7-Borla Exhaust.
8-SLP Flywheel/clutch set.
9- 4:10 gears
With the first 5 little modifications the STOCK mustang can simply kiss your ***, GUARANTEED. And to be quite honest with you, I don't know if a stock mustang would take a stock Z28.

Go for #1, 4 & 5, shop for headers taking in you may prefer a custom grind with a cam and you are done.
hehehe, to be quite honest with you, the Gt I'm out to race is kinda suspecious to me, I think he got mods on it without telling me, but overall I really wanted to know if a Stock Z28 would take a Stock GT, I got the answer though.
4:10s for quicker take offs, 3:73s are good if you drive your car a lot on the highway, that's just my opinion. Don't get me wrong now, 3:73s are great gears but for better take offs 4:10s are the better ones of course.
