aftermarket heads & temp gauge problem
thanks,
Carman
I believe the Vette used a sesnor in the WP that sent signals both for the pcm and the dash. Used to be a popular mod on the b-body boards, will see if I can find the PN and instructions.
I will say I think that if you have an electric WP the dash sender should be in the head because if an electric stops spinning the heads will heat up FAST but the temp measured at the WP would not.

You would have to extend the wiring from the in head sensor to reach the WP.
Like I said I would not do this with an electric WP because if they stop spinning the motor will overheat badly without seeing it on the gauge.
Are those Brodix LT1 heads?
