01 cobras arent supercharged. You will take him no prob. My buddy has a 01 with 3.73's, exhaust, intake, and his best time ever in the 1/8th was an 8.8. I did that bone stock in my LT1...

I don't know where ya'll are getting this but 01 Cobras are VERY comparable to stock LS1's. They run mid 13's at 105. Its the DOHC motor, not the SOHC 4.6. I think it would be a good race, hopefully the Cobra is stock.

Well well well well, I'M BACK WITH THE NEWS. This guy was scared to race and he wouldn't put the money at first like we did with the GT, we all work together at a big factory but I never really had a chance to speak with him, I saw the Cobra outside many times but didn't know who he was.
Anyways, come the race time (There's 1.7 miles two lanes street from the factory to the highway ramp, that's where we race) at the end of the shift, I gave 100 bucks to the "Judge" at the end line and the Cobra guy wouldn't, he hesitated and his excuse was : "It's my dad's car, I know I can beat ya and win but I'm thinking not to go for it because it's my dad's car".
Anyways, friends couldn't convince him then and we left, HOWEVER, 2 hours later I got a call from a friend who told me that he is lying, it is his car and he's just afraid because HE NEVER LOST A RACE. His buddies convinced him to come back and race.
Now hold on, it's drama and I don't wanna bore ya with the story but hang on with me.
I go back to race him, but he RAISED the race winning amount to $300 and wouldn't race for less (It's like he's got some Lamborg or something ya know) I said ok **** it, here's 150 bucks. Comes race time.
He had to stop the take off 2 ******* times because he CLAIMED I cheated and took off before I was suppose to, at that point I was getting VERY angry and just wanted to kill his Cobra. The third time was ok and folks, he did put up a nasty fight and he knows how to race, the take off was very close up until shifting into third gear and that was basically when I started seeing him in my MERROR, with the GT I got him by 13 seconds, with the Cobra I got him by around 5 seconds, but I ******* GOT HIM . I got 300 bucks and if anyone lives around the PA area please we need some help here burrying these two poor fords. HOW CAN WE TEACH "MUSTANGERS" NOT TO **** WITH US?????

going back to the weight issue....in my experience from trailering my 95 Z28 vs. my buddies 95 Cobra, and another friend's 96 GT....the ford girls seem to be some heffers.
I would think they both weigh in around 3600-3700, where as my LT1 might break 3500.
