Default Best Exhaust?

Im looking into buying a new exhaust soon, I was originally looking at either a Corsa, Borla, or SLP, but I just want to know what one would provide the best performance....

Any cat-back will all give a slight increase in hp/tq, but not anything really noticeable. It all really depends on what sound you like, what look you like, and what you can afford.

all catbacks are less restrictive than OEM, but the difference between all of them are probably 1-3 HP... it wouldn't matter as far as performance goes.

Which do you think sounds the best out of these three, The Borla, The Corsa or The SLP?

It's all subjective. I think the GMMG sounds the best on an LT1, and is what I'll be getting in the future. Borla is also good. I think the SLP sounds like a Jake-Brake on a big rig, and the corsa doesn't have a good tone to it for me. Although you really can't beat an open cutout... or two

I am keeping my stock exhaust! Yes thats right! I think it sounds great! Call me crazy! However it will sound the best out of them all when I get a lumpy cam, LTs and the ORY. But the main reason I am sticking with this is b/c I will be runing dual electric 3" cut-outs right of the headers. Nothing could be louder (if your into that) or sound like a race car when you want it. I always enjoyed the stock sound of the LT1 with the factory muffler. It sounds the best with later model LT1s that have dual cats.

I think the best exhaust and the one that flows the best since it actually pulls the exhaust out of the motor would be LTs with 3" True duals using an X-pipe with the two moroso spiral flow muflers dumped before the axle. Just like what BlueB4C has on his 2002 LS1. Check him out, he has a bunch of videos with his car. I have never heard a car that sounds better than that! And I am willing to bet it will sound even better on an LT1 --> they always sounded better to me for some reason... theres my .02
