Ok it was late int he night and I realized my MAF was disconnected. I have no clue how long it has been like this, but when i went to connect it I realized it didn't connect how I "remembered" it connecting in the past. Is there a specific way a stock MAF is supposed to be installed? I was thinking the connector plug end of the MAF was supposed to face the motor, is this correct?

 

should only go way.. now the MAF unit it has a arrow pointing towards the intake showing flow direction

 

kk ill take a look at it in the daylight....was already dark so i didnt notice anythign like taht....but we shall see

 

The Screen toward the Front..

 

Yeah screen to the front of the air intake and you can just turn the thing around until the plug reaches. Been away from the elbow for a while so I can't remember how it goes. I think the rectangular section goes straight down with the plug going toward the motor.

 

I am thinkinking it was straight in front of it.. Plug is toward the Engine, the side that is pointing out will have the groove for the Ring that holds the Screen in.

 

ok once in the daylight I checked the sensor and it tells me which way goes towards the air cleaner. so i got that fixed. tracking down another gremlin that showed his ugly face lastnight right now. thank you all for the help.
