MAF Direction
MAF Direction Ok it was late int he night and I realized my MAF was disconnected. I have no clue how long it has been like this, but when i went to connect it I realized it didn't connect how I "remembered" it connecting in the past. Is there a specific way a stock MAF is supposed to be installed? I was thinking the connector plug end of the MAF was supposed to face the motor, is this correct?

Yeah screen to the front of the air intake and you can just turn the thing around until the plug reaches. Been away from the elbow for a while so I can't remember how it goes. I think the rectangular section goes straight down with the plug going toward the motor.
ok once in the daylight I checked the sensor and it tells me which way goes towards the air cleaner. so i got that fixed. tracking down another gremlin that showed his ugly face lastnight right now. thank you all for the help.
