Default Quick about to by headers!!!!!!

Im confused on which headers to buy. My car is a 95 but has two cats so do i buy headers for a 96 car with two cats? If i get the ones that say for a 95 they say for single cat only. Help ASAP please.

To retain the cats in the stock location you should get the 96-97 style headers. I've heard there's not so much gain with this style headers over the stock manifold.

But if you wanna run cats because of inspection and you want some LT's then your gonna have to have a Y-Pipe fabbed up with dual hi-flow cats or something.

Go with some Mid-lengths, they give you similar hp gains as LT's.

If you can find midlengths for dual cats, then get those. MAC is good, AS&M are probably better.

I would go with mids, I live in CA I have the JBA's headers they come with a carb # on the header, so you will be good with them. I pick up so good #'s with the JBA's you can get them from summit.

Dont get the Mac's if you get Mids because they do not have Carb #'s. AS&M make a real nice mid-length header that you can get the random tech dual catted y-pipe for. Its pricey but a killer setup.

I was lookin at the pacesetter mids. And they look funny as hell for the dual cat cars. Do the JBA ones look like that too. I was also thinkin that I could just go Long Tubes and ORY and change em out to stock when smog time comes.

Please... I put short tubes on, and I felt a big difference. I am not saying that I wouldn't get more with longtubes, but they kick the stock manifolds a$$.

SLP shorties will fit with dual cat 96-97 exhaust and retain factory piping.

The best part is they cant give me any crap when I go for inspection.

I will be ditching them after my 383 is done , because they will not support it very well.
