Low oil?
Low oil? i was sitting at the bank with my air on i dicided to turn it off and the temp was about 180ish couple min go by and the tem was at 210 i saw the oil gauge sitting on the red line (Normall it is a hair above) i gave it some gas and i goes back up maybe 10psi @ 1,500rpm let go and it sat on the red line and the suddenly drops to 0 and the check gauge light comes on so the whole time i was in line i kept it at 1,500 when i left and drove about a mile and came to a light it was sitting a hair above i just changed my oil maybe 2,000 miles ago it has 109,000 on it and i use mobile one 7,500 with a k/n filter i believe i used 10w30 im going to change it again and use 5w30 hopefully its a bad sensor? also i got on it and it went to 40psi @ 3,600 in the mornings its 40 as well any help or comments please

40 psi while you are on it sounds a little low. shouldn't it be hittin around 60ish psi? my car idles at 40 when cold and 30-35 when warm. i think my psi is hittin 60 psi around 2500 rpms but i am not sure on that. Just throwin out some numbers to compare as for your problem i really don't know. I use the same oil mobil 1 - 10w30.
yeah in the moring or cold ill get on it and it hits 60 but when its hella hot it idle's right abouve the red and i didnt like it for the fist time it dropped to zero it was weird it sat above the red then suddenly dropped to the needle and i was like wtf, i changed to 5w30 i dont know if i did a mistake think i should have gone with something else? i also added a half bottle of hperlube and it seems fine well see tomarrow
