haha... well... on a 94 Z with 150k on the clock:
14.3 @ 97mph
Setup:
!spare tire and jack
Full weight car (pw, pl, A/C, Bose radio, t-tops, etc.)
35psi Kumho street tires
3.23 rear
A4 stock converter
Flowmaster Cat-back
Moroso CAI
160* thermostat
BONE STOCK suspension w/ stock Decarbons (yea, at a 150k miles)
So laugh it up at the times... but for my tired drivetrain and stock suspension, I did about where it should be.

mods at the time:
holley 58mm TB, K&N CAI, hooker LT's and ORY, hooker catback, Tune. full interior, A4, stock 3.23, 80k miles on the clock on 245/50 Bridgestone potenza's.
the car dynoed 278rwhp/306rwtq
may not be the best, but it was enough to beat my friends similarly modded LS1 car!

suspension mods are what make your et....obviously this is assuming you have a sticky tire.....you can have all the power in the world but if you can't put it to the ground its not doing you any good.....the 11.80 time that i quoted above was your basic 1.6, header, free mod, cai, 52mm TB, EWP with suspension and weight reduction.....if you can put the power you got to the ground you'll surprise a lot of people

With just tune, CAI, cutout and catback I ran 13.8 at 102 and 8.8 at 81 in the 1/8, dynoed 281/312. No times or numbers with the LT's, blew head gasket a few months after install.
Installing ported heads and 1.7RR with thinner head gaskets this week, so hoping to get a good gain with this.
