Need advice quick!!! Mustang or no... Hey Guys this guy wants to trade straight up, my car for his and I don't know much about Mustangs...it's a 88 vert with a paxton 5lb supercharger, motor is out of a 95 Cobra...here's some pics...
Mods are: 3:73's, underdrive pulleys, 70mmtb, alum drive shaft, bbk headers and H pipe, subframe connectors,and the rest apperance mods.
45k on motor, 2k on trans and clutch.
My mods are in sig for the most part.
Is this a good trade?
Also do the 95 Cobra motors have forged internals?

I definetly wouldnt trade for that car it would be ALOT slower than yours, it looks cool and all but it's old. The '95 Cobra motors aren't anythign special at all. I was in this one kid's 93 LX with an alphabet cam, manifold, etc. and Vortech S/C and was very disapointed in how it ran, my bolt-on Formula was faster of course he only had 2.73 gears but still.

Haha beats ws6's and SS's all the time... Everytime I hear those words, the car is a turd that can't beat anything. I'm sure it could beat a stock f-body, but big deal. I keep looking for a fox body for cheap that I can set up for drag racing, but I would never trade in my car for one. Nothing on that car flows at all. He would totally get the better end of the deal if you traded even with money.
If it TRULY is a 94-95 CObra engine, they had GT-40 heads...look at the very front lower corner of the cylinder head "GT" will be cast in the head....if not he is bullshitting you, and a 5 lb Paxton is straight up JUNK, old as the hills.

Ah, I didn't notice you have 382hp. Yea, no way would I trade now. It would take seriously $4k for me to do it lol
Anyways, I'd tell him if he beats the cars he's saying, to race you. You shouldn't walk all over him if that's the case. Now, sure you'll beat him by a few cars, but if you beat him by large amounts, then you know.

Fox Bodies look nice, but that cowl is about a 1/2 to an inch too tall. Other than that, the Saleen's look nice. They're one of the only cars that can pull off a spoiler of that magnitude while having a small body lol

Whatever to get the most out of that very impressive 380 rwhp WS6.
There is no way in hell I would even consider trading it for an ugly *** fox body Mustang. Of course that guy wants to trade, he drives around in a matchbox toy, while you got one of the sweetest looking 4th gens ever made.
I don't even care if he offers you a large sump of money...
