Default Head removal walkthrough??

hey, im in the process of removing my heads, and myself and a friend (who is also doing the same thing) were wondering if anyone had a walkthrough on the process.. thanks guys

Lol, i've done this I don't know how many times, with the engine in and out of the car. It's a pain in the car for that back bolt on each side, much easier out. Just pull everything off around the heads, and then unbolt it and pull it off.

cool.. im almost done with the drivers side head... the passengers side just looks like such a bitch (which it usually is) with all those accessories and brackets and whatnot..

yeah its a bit of a pain, Sean let me know how it goes and if you got pics. Hopefully tomorrow Ill head to my dads house to try and get my manifold bolts off

One bit of advice i have is if you still have the stock manifolds and dont plan on using them cut off the heat shield for the pass side 1 before trying to remove it it made a world of difference for me

ah. i never thought of that... thats more help to paul than me, since im running mac mids, but he still has to deal with those cast iron heaps..
