Opti question Heys guys i've heard that the stock opti on the lt1's is vented. Im thinkin that my problem of my car sputtering is because of my waterpump leaking on to my opti. Don't they make solid opti's for the lt1's or am i just retarted? Sorry im new to f-bods 
you mean a sealed opti? no there is no such thing, but the GM piece is a 3 piece unit which has really crappy seals and they leak alot through the top connector port.
The MSD unit is a two piece unit with a very good o-ring, seals nicely, but it is also vented
