If you put the rails into a 400* oven to cure the powder coat, all the fittings will leak. Not pressed, swaged, but with a rubber o-ring to seal them. The rubber will be shot if subjected to those kinds of temps.
The caps at the front end, and the rear fittings all have an o-ring seal. If you look at the area where the fittings join to the rails, you see a angled ring around the steel part. That angled part of the aluminum is what holds the fittings in. You have to cut it off to remove the fittings. Making the removal permanent.
I removed mine because I was having AN fittings welded on for a custom fuel system. When I realized there was rubber seals in there, I went ahead and removed the front fittings and had plugs welded in.
Moral of the story, powder coating temps will make those seals leak, and will ruin your rails.
