Fuel Tank Help Well my fuel pump has died and I was wondering if there was anyway to get around dropping the rear suspension out. If there isnt does anyone have some useful info on the easiest way of doing this little project. I was also thinking about doing a in line fuel pump has anyone else done this?

I ve done it and its way faster.There is already a couple of cars that came with a fuel trap door(eclipse/talon).
The only thing that i ve changed in the hole setup is the plate.I did not put a couple of rivets to hold it.I put 2 hinges on one side and a lock on the other side.I also put a wheatherstrip under the plate.It looks like oem.

I pulled tank when I changed my fuel pump, cutting back by the hatch is not worth it IMO. Do it the right way learn a few more thing about your car. I didn't think it was that hard when i pulled the tank. I did all of it by myself and im not that strong
