Need info on LT1's
EGr/Air stuff you talk about....equal to the egr/air pump BS on Mustangs?

Yes, the air/egr is the same emissions crap. It can be gotten rid of when headers are done, or you can keep it if you need it.
270/290 would be a very very good dyno for a stock LT1. 290/310 is unpossible.
Great deal for the money though. And installing headers and getting read of the AIR, etc helps a LOT with freeing up some space to make it easier.
I know about the optispark because of the whole waterpump thing. Learned that real quick. haha.
Im really not looking to be in Ls1 territory. Just a nice 350rwhp machine. And the LT1 looks to be the answer.

After owning a LS1 and now being on my second LT1, I will tell you the LS1 is definately a monster in the top end...but LT1's are great cars and definately perform very well. You are making a great decision to stop sticking money into your car and buying one that already puts that power down stock.
