makes me not feel as bad for running a 14.2 with a 2.3 60 ft.

yea keep us updated! hope you find it. Like i said I ran into a similar issue, still trying to over come it. This week I will be checking all my vac ports and redoing my PCV (was missing, i forgot to put this in when i built the motor).

Did you change the tune at all?

I'm pretty sure the car went 13.3 at ~105 before with 2.73's, stock stall, mid header(long tubes now), street tires, slipping tranny, and that pcmforless tune.

Did the leak down with pretty good readings across the board
Cyclinder Leak down %
1 1
3 2
5* 1
7 2
2 2
4 2.5
6 3.25
8 1

*on the number five cylinder, the plug was just a little oily, but the wire was where we found something interesting

Apparently plug wires arent supposed to sit on headers.

Well, we finished up with everything else and took it out. Definately feels a lot better. Going to hit up the track wednesday and see how much of a difference we actually made. I'm hoping for good numbers here.

Anyways, HUGE thanks to volksmech, a local guy who is on this board. He helped me out a ton and is a real stand up guy!
