LT1 Stalling please help

LT1 Stalling please help OK I just bought a 94 Z28 a4, I started having a issue the night before last. Ill be driving along and it will just stall, if you give it gas it starts too rev and dies by 3200 rpms. I found a ground strap off the motor I bolted it back on no diffrence, When you crank it the starter seems too "kick back" but it still starts. The security light is almost allways on or flashing but it was doing that before the stalling started. Any input would be very helpful this is my first LT1 car. THANKS
