Default lt1 headers & dual cat y-pipe

hey im going to be dropping my car 2". It will be a weekend warrior/show car. Im looking to do headers, but not LT's. I was considering this route.

Random Tech Stainless Steel DualCat Y-Pipe, Arizona Speed & Marine 1-3/4" Headers, Full Accessory Package for 1996-1997 model cars

http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...&vid=4&pcid=52

Its the fourth one down, Lt1 headers and dual cat y-pipe.

What thinks you guys about ground clearance with this setup?

I know these are great headers and a good y-pipe, just wanted to hear input or suggestions/advice. It is a bit pricey at $1500 but it includes the following:

* Arizona Speed & Marine 1-3/4" Ceramic Coated Headers
* Random Technology Dual-Cat Y-pipe w/ 2 Bullet Catalytic Converters
* Stage 8 Locking Header Bolts
* Felpro Gaskets
* Felpro Header Collector Gaskets
* Stage 8 Locking Bolts for Header Collectors
* GM Check Valve Adapters (as needed on '96-97 applications)
* New Dipstick Tube, Pre-bent and cut for easier installation
* Taylor Fire Sleeves
* Stainless Steel Tie Wraps
* O2 Harness extension (as needed on '96-97 applications)
* Longer #8 Plug Wire (Specify stock or Taylor wires)

WHat thinks you guys? Any help is much obliged!!!

My car is lowered 2" and I have Pacesetter LT's with a custom dual cat y-pipe. The lowest point is the driver side collector on the header. I can do speed bumps very slowly with 4" ground clearance.

The mids may have better clearance but damn thats alot of coin.

Why waste your time and money on something that will only produce half the power. For the money and heartache LT's are well worth the price. Don't settle for less. As far as clearance goes, just slow down over bumps and stuff and use your head.

Lemme ask you something: how do you know your long tubes are long enough?
