Default Exhaust ideas

Hi im doing my exhaust on my 94 LT1 and was goin true duals, but with 35 series tires, a 1.5 in drop and a house with a sloped driveway, i think theres goin to be way too many clearance issues. So my thought is Pacesetter headers into a Y-pipe opened to 4 inch-outlet into 4 in intermediate pipe and 1 Flowmaster 1 chamber 4 in and 4 out. Well this setup work well as far as flow or is it over-kill and just do 3 inch all the way back with one muffler? Thanks

4in is more than overkill. 3in is overkill for most.

do like a 2.5" y then stay with a 2.5" bullet or go to a 3" bullet. i was planning on doing this but then i was like screw it i want true duals b/c they sound awesome so im gonna deal with the clearance issues. my buddy has an 01 transam with pro kit and an adjustable torque arm and 3" true duals and his torque arm is lower than the exhaust

Why not just look into a cat-back? If you need it that large, look at the Mufflex brand.

Yeah ill porobably just do the 3 in Y, into a 3 in 1 chamber flow... I wanted true duals for the same thing the awesome sound but by doing this setup is the sound going to be that much different than duals?
