Default Going true duals ... which mufflers to pick?

im going to do the summit universal 3" x pipe kit on my car. It was brought up in another thread where he only spent like $150 for true duals and works great.

now, which mufflers to get?

I already have sweet thunder on my y pipe. sounds great .. but could sound better.

borla xr1? ... magnaflow? ... single chamber flows? ... spintech? ...

any suggestions/vid clips???

thanks!

I just went through this and selected the Morosos after hearing a lot of sound clips of everything. I've yet to put them on though.

2-chamber flows! I have them and it sounds NASTY! It really sounds like a big block old school muscle car coming down the road! Go to ls1sounds.com and have a listen. The single chambers just sound obnoxious.

I run the Edelbrock SDT 304s in stainless...They are 3 5/8" thick and are great for ground clearance, plus they sound awesome...Not too loud (for us older folks who have had it with LOUD)...I was able to pick up a 1/2 mph over my wide open and very loud Borla cat back run at 50 degrees outside and it was in 80 degree heat...I know I need to post a sound clip and I'm trying to figure out my wife's damn camera...We also just added a side exit to the system which really clears out any interior drone and the dreaded interior plastic rattles and vibrations...

XR1's? Too damn expensive. I had a single XR1 on my old setup and am now running dual Moroso spiral flows. Good sound but not as diverse as I was expecting. Mine are pointed at an angle to the rear end, no turn downs. I think I had a little over $200 in my exhaust minus the headers (which were already on there).

I was going to say...I've heard a few magnaflow true dual setups that sounded awesome, and that's what I'm doing.
