The gas fumes in my car are pretty bad. Sitting at a light you can definantly smell gas fumes. Are f-bodies known for that because they run rich? My car is basically stock. Any input is needed.

 

check your fuel lines. especially the ones in the actual engine compartment. my fuel fittings came loose in my TA. smelled mroe gas that i usually do (in fact...sitting still caused a giant pool of gas to leak under the car).

could just be a connection that wiggled loose from the pressure.

 

I have the same problem, been searching for the problem for months?? When the windows are down it gets very strong but when they are up can't tell a thing. It could be coming from a split filler neck or maybe something around the pump since I had to replace it.
