Transmission mount question
I just got through installing the energy suspension transmission mount which was about $20.00 more than the oem mount. I was wondering if any of you have experienced a problem with lining up the holes on the crossmember to support the Energy Suspension mount. I noticed that someone had a hard time with installing different mounts because the crossmember that the mount rests on had been drilled out a few times, and made the hole actually bigger. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. You can push the tranny back and make it fit, although people have told me that it messes up your pinion angle.
On my 95, I made the hole in the crossmember bigger and made it fit without a problem.
On my 93, I just pushed the tranny back until it fit.
Both cars had adjustable torque arms, the angle seemed fine before and after.
