intake manifold leak

intake manifold leak any one have a good link for for replacing the common intake manifold leak
i did try searching and found some ok write ups, any pointers would help too

I think the thing to remember here is the fix the cause of the leak, not just the leak there.
The cause is the passenger side EGR pipe, it heats up the back of the manifold where its just sealant, and the pressure causes it to blow out. I wrapped my egr pipe in header wrap and got high temperature sealant, its done the trick so far.

Just put a good even bead of silicone. I let the silicone set up for about 10 minutes before laying the intake down. Install the intake straight down do not move it around. Let it sit overnight before starting. It's not a hard job good luck.

yeah, thats why i just took alot of time to make sure i did all the connections right and fixed a few other things, went to sleep and the next she was ready to go, haha.
