lt1 help plz
lt1 help plz iam trying to hook up a 5inc tech and iam going to the white wire on the computer and iam getting to reading on the 5in tech the dash one is any help would be helpfull thankis

huh ? First - Try a spell checker, and then re-read what you typed to make sure it makes sense...
After reading your post about 5 times I've come up with this:
You are trying to hook up an aftermarket tachometer - which happens to be 5" diameter...not sure that matters here...Anyhow, you have hooked it up to the white wire and it is not working, but your factory tach is working.
Do you have the new tach properly grounded ? Do you have ignition power to it ? If so, are you sure this white wire is the correct signal wire ? You can test with an engine tester to see if you get a signal.
