Default Underdrive pulleys

As the title says i'am having a bit of a problem pulling the old one off. A buddie let me borrow the "the pulley puller tool" and it still doesn't want to budge. Was wondering if i need to do something else. Its on a 94 Lt1 firebird and the pulleys are from LMPerformance.com its the 34% crank and altornator pulley. Thanks Calvin

well, as long as you got the 3 bolts off, it should come off easily, mine came off by hand.

uhm, keep trying?

Like thebufenator vbmenu_register("postmenu_7259257", true); prev. stated it should just come right off. You should even have to pull the center bolt out or even use the puller. I took out the three outer bolts and mine just came off with no applied pressure. I hate to tell you to try a rubber hammer but that might be your only choice. Good luck, and it shouldnt damage it because it was ment to just come off so it should need much persuation.

I actually used a Chrysler puller, it was a three-jaw type. You are probably trying to use a puller for a standard SBC, which it trying to remove the hub instead of the pulley.

eh, they help the engine rev quicker, less wear on the ps pump, alternator, and a/c compressor, not really alot of power at all.
