Chris Sikora's YSi car ran 8s in the 1/4 on a ported LT4. I have seen plenty of local blower cars make 700rwhp+ on ported LTx intakes. Sheet metals are expensive as hell. Most cost effective would be running a ported LTx intake when you tear in to the motor. Where your at now, a intake wont help you much. If decide to do h/c or a motor then look in to intakes.

I have pulled off the supercharger and am going turbo. In fact the complete supercharger kit is for sale, I will put it in the for sale sec and on Ebay....
*Edit* My setup consists of a 383 shortblock (lightweight stuff), LE Ported TFS heads and LT4 manifold, BRE custom blower cam, BBK 58mm TB modded by me, ASM headers for the time being (will switch to Kooks if the ASM's won't clear the oil pan), water injection, FAST XFI. Planning on starting with the ATI Twin High Flow intercoolers and moving from there (I will NOT cut up the nose of my T/A).
I'm in talks right now wit ATI on pricing for an F-1A and may sell my brand new D-1SC because I think it's not going to get me where I want (700+, Sub 10 on the timeslip once my suspension is set).

Well there ya go Razor. Dump a couple thousand in and you'll be where these guys are I think I'd be plenty happy with 300-350hp since I like how my car is as it sits and that's only around 250 lol

Your setup is VERY similiar to mine and like a few that I have seen in 4L60E's have made close to 700RWHP, I think the key is in the heads, and the inlet of the blower, and those Twins are going to hold you back, why not a FMIC like myself.

My inlet hat intentions are to get one of the custom ones Lisa33 makes over on CZ28.com. I've actually thought about running an open inlet with a screen on the blower, but figure the car will see lots of street time so that's probably not the wisest idea.
Depending on what the F-1A price is and what I can get for my D-1SC is gonig to determine whether or not I make that move up in this building stage.

Hmm surprised Dwayne hasn't responded yet Nothing wrong with a ported stocker. Sure more power can be made with a sheetmetal or a single plane conversion, but like the examples goes, plenty of guys going fast with the stocker, no reason you can't either

With a blower especially an intake swap would be worth little.
I didn't pop in sooner because I was in St. Louis running faster than trailered stroker. Well that and the fact that I have come to the conclusion that most people are too stupid to be helped or that stupid people will stop the one who want to learn from learning the right stuff.
How many times have you seen me post good info for someone and then a bunch of ignorant boneheads contradict me and the original poster goes by the numbers instead of by the results?

In St. Louis sunday, as said it was 102-104F, I drove there swapped rear tires and ran 12.8-9 with crappy 1.79 60ft. times(has done low 1.6s). It was horrible racing weather and the track was too hot to hook. Stockish cars were dialing in 16 seconds for the brackets .
