Default Ignition Coil or ICM

I've been running my 57 Chevy with a LT-1 1995 motor from a Caprice Police car since 1996. I used the wiring from the donor car and have no DLC.
Now, 11 years later the first trouble starts.
I can drive the car for 30 minutes then suddenly it has no spark.
What is most common failure?
Ignition Coil or Ignition Control module?

I would say ICM from getting hot, but the coil is cheaper and you can just get one from autozone or something, try it, and if it doesn't fix the problem bring it back. Just don't install it all the way.

what he said.....but also advance auto should beable to test the coil and the ICM before you buy one. Also I dont rememebr how, but you can test the coil at home yourself.

side note...Make sure your plugwire going into the opti is in securely.
