dont let us scare you away from changing your own plugs. first, it costs an arm and a leg to get a shop to do it. second, you need experience. the next time you do it, it will be easier. third, you learn new things about your car. so i say go for it, knowing that it is going to be time consuming and frustrating, but its definately doable. when its all done you will feel like you just climbed a mountain.

It's okay not to know anything about cars. There are rich people out there that have fast *** cars but pay people to do everything. But if your on a tech website looking to replace spark plugs, of course your going to get ****.

Anyways, you say you know what injectors are but then your asking what the 8 things are on the manifold (THE INJECTORS). That's the intake manifold too, you could be referring to the exhaust manifolds so I don't know which one you mean.

This reminds me of a friend that took 30 min to jack up his car, 10 min to break a lug nut loose, and would of been hours if I didn't help him rotate his tires.

Everyone's got to start somewhere..
Plugs are not that bad..then again that's coming from me..I take Engines out and swap them with the ones that I build, on top of all the other custom things I do with my car.

Why are you wanting to remove the plugs anyways? If you seafoam a car via sucking it through the intake manifold, You need to go and drive the car afterwards and beat the snot out of it. Otherwise if you do like every other person I've talked to, Letting it sit in the driveway while you revv the **** outta if, you're going to have a good chance of leaving **** all over the plugs.

You don't have to change oil after seafoam unless you run it in the crankcase, or have really worn out rings that would allow the stuff to make it past them.

I just finished doing my spark plugs; not much fun, but certainly doable. I had to get #7 and #8 from below. Number 2 was the worst by far, IMO. Next time I'm going to try removing the alternator first, to see how much that helps reaching #2
