Just food for thought.
GM supposedly never put leather seats in the 93s.
94 was the first year for leather and mine came with graphite leather seats.
It had 32K on it when I bought it and the original owner traded it in to the dealership I bought it from.

No mention of the leather whatsoever in the RPOs.

According to the Camaro white book only about 1100 cars had leather that first year.

That is Camaros, birds may be different.

By the way, both seats are like this.

Yep same ones. Both seats run off the drivers compressor pump.

Rev, what I understood was 94 was the first year it was standard in a T/A but it was always an option.

after reading this post, now im thinkin mines a stripper lol...cause only option i have is cruze controll, fog lights, and a/c.

No power windows, no window tint, no power lock, no t-top, no power seats, no leather seats, no rear defroster, no cd player, no floor mats, T56, silver salad shooter.

BTW: what came with F41, and G92 codes? how much ride firmness are they compared to my FE2.

G92 is performance gear ratio probably the 3.23 or the 3.42...F41 has bigger sway bars for less roll in the corners...the FE2 is the rally suspension package. My 93 TA has grey leather from the factory, in 93 the camaro had cloth, the first year for leather was 94. My seats look almost like those ones, but I have a different head rest, I have the same buttons..that same center support and air bags but the headrest is diff.

I didn't really pay much attention to head rest. I think mine is solid with the back, but not sure.

That's one thing I did notice about my head rest. I took a full picture because I figured someone would say something. The one's I have seen are solid like camaros, like you said. Think I should post my RPO's?

I just took a look-see in the garage, and they're separate. I've just never bothered to move them up. After all, I never use the head rest. My 91 was solid, might be where the confusion lay.

Some one was shopping cheap when they bought yours.
They must have been, I do not have a problem with it. It is nice not to worry about replacing the power window motors and the tint on the rear glass looks great without the rear defrost lines. I thought the car might be a 1LE, but I was told that all 96 & 97 1LE formula's and t/a's had WS6 hoods. I will have to check all the codes on the door, I probably have the least codes

Yeh, it is an old picture. I have a can of VHT nightshades I am going to spray my stock ambers. I am sure it will look quite different.

No your color is 12I...this is RPO code for graphite (drk grey)
122 is the code for leather graphite, and they should manual seats. Sorry I forgot you posted all the codes yesterday.

You're right my bad, I was thinking since it was on the Base coat line it was the "Red" RPO.

So am I supposed to have electric leather or no?

I have those seats in my 93, just my head rests are different, the driver side is a heavy sonvabitch

A 1LE is and always has been a performance suspension package for GM cars. Discounted in 1999, only to be brought back by SLP... well not really.

When they brought it back they made it into a pussified version.
Although some prior 1999 1LE cars that where 1LE's did have some power options.

I remember seeing a 1995 1LE Z28 on ebay, with 900 original miles... sold for almost 20K. Looked exactly like my car, but the main difference was the suspension components, no fog lamps, better brakes, front and rear control arms, larger 32mm sway bar, beefier T56 transmission mount, better bushings, some other things and I believe it had no AC.

CLICK HERE to read about the 1LE package and how it pertained to 4th Gen's.
The guy who had my car before me had put 1LE springs and shocks in, but replaced the Koni's with DeCarbon's about 2 weeks before I bought the car.
My Z28 sits about 3/4 on an inch lower then stock.

I'm sure I don't have to tell you that 1LE has been around longer than 4th Gens right?

My car has DeCarbon's in it. They're not the factory ones are they? I have a scary feeling they are, since my O2 sensor was, and I think a bunch of other things are too. Anyways, DeCarbons on a 93 Formy?

You did read the link I posted right? It states that the 1LE goes back through the years.
And I said my car has new DeCarbon's and 1LE springs.

They probably are the factory ones. When I bought my car they were still in there, the original ones from the factory. Eventually the ride got worse and worse and I stuck some Bilstein HDs in.

Only time I regret having a stripper is when the mystery FL rain comes. Oh you know how its bright and sunny, and then downpouring. I'm 5'11" and can't reach the pass. window handle without pulling over.

it would be nice to get back to the days of, radio delete, manual brakes, no carpet, no head liner, steel wheels w/poverty caps, manual steering and a clutch so heavy you got cramps. oh, delivered in white too.

you know, back when all you really needed was some sheet metal surrounding all kinds of motor, and a simple place to plant your ***.
