Default Dyno time on the LE1 H/C

I thought I'd post up the vid of my last run of the day. Put down 349 (no tq readings) revving to 6200.

This is the second to last run, as it had a tq reading

LE1 heads, custom cam, 3600 Yank stall, LTs, ORY, Borla exhaust
And just some food for thought, i gained 1 hp when i CLOSED the cutout.

I can guess you'll probably get bashed soon for the "low" numbers from the m6 crew, but with that fat stalled auto the track times will show the real picture

Grats, nice numbers - but I bet you like your E/T even more!

Whats the a/f and who tuned it? The dip in power around 115mph looks like knock retard, you might wanna get it dyno tuned.

It was tuned by Keith McCord. That isnt my last dyno, it was smoothed out after that, but it is the last dyno i got a tq reading on. My only real issue right now is not having enough vacuum to stall the car completely up. And the AFR is perfect right around 13.2

Something is not right IMHO. Unless you are running a teeny tiny custom cam those numbers should be a bit higher.

I agree. Take it to the track for the real test.

I'm guessing the converter was locked too on the run? What are the cam specs?

Ya it says 370-390 on his site but there are so many unknown factors to his build. bigger tb emissions, bigger injector, opti problems,

Where exactly do you live? I was going to have Keith tune my car as well but went with Tim @ Redline because they did my installs.

The numbers don't seem far off to me being that this is an automatic. His 370-390 rating is for straight drive cars.

This was an unlocked conertor guys, i probably could have seen closer to 370 if it had been locked. However, i have heard a lot about how that is really bad for the driveline. Im in kansas city, btw. My ultimate goal is low 12s, high 11s.

I agree, somethings not right. A friend of mine dynoed 360 something with cam only on his bird(with a bad opti). Unless like someone posted, your running a really small cam, but you should be well in the upper numbers. C'mon Issac chime in on this one.

those numbers arent low...

its an unlocked stalled automatic. they are NOT dyno queens.

congratulations on the numbers, come back with track times and show everyone what your "low numbers" produce!

For that small of cam and no e-pump? don't know your compression or t-body size.... For reference back in the day "Twofast4lv" did 392SAE unlocked with a Yank thruster Pro 3800 (12 bolt) on "LE" heads. With Your mods and GM 847 cam, e-pump and 58 t-body. That's a about right for the difference of 40-50 rwhp.... Your numbers look good to me, and I have had a manual to auto conversion so, Ive seen the big power loss (in my case 40 rwhp) 30 from converter unlocked and 10 from the conversion to 4l60E race unit.....Now take it to the track and see what she runs.... Full weight with good gearing and good sixty of low 1.6's should net you 12-12.2's at around 112mph. With big weight reductions easily 11's....
