also one more thing. Once you are ready to install it you will have to trim the ear on the alt that will be bolting on the bottom for alignment issues. Bolt in the AB and attach the PS pump loosly to get it out of the way to install the alt, because it will have to be removed shortly. Install the bottom bolt on the alt then remove the Ps pump and install the top bolt of the alt to the fab bracket that you made. If im not mistaken the spacer that you can barely see between the upper alt ear and the bracket is about 1/2 inch. I didnt really measure it i just kept trimming it untill the alt pully was aligned. Next put the PS pump back on and tighten it back to factory torque specs. After you have done that then you can install the idler pully (this is what i used which i had to put a sleave in it to reduce the inner hole diameter) and tighten it down.

The top hard line on the PS that goes to the resevoir will be in the way of the belt. Dont worry though the hard line is able to move to make it clear the belt.

if you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Mines all finished up and bolted to the motor, but now I can't find a belt that will fit the damn thing LOL I need a 58" belt but I can find a 56" which is a little short and a 60" which is too long and no one around here can find one.

I'll get some pics up after I relocate my heater lines and power steering hoses out of the way of the repositioned belt. 1 problem that I had was the PS hardline, I fought with that damn thing for probably 2 hours trying to bend it around my top bolt bracket and the altenator, but I got it finally, but the hunt for a belt begins and I found out that my fans quit working so I have to figure that one out too

Thanks for the help and the pics

HAHA thanks, I'll get it figured out, I just hope my fans didn't take a crap on me. But when my buddy hooked up the LT1edit my fans turned on just fine, but they won't turn on with the switch or by the PCM, so hopefully its just a relay. But I only have my switch on the high speed side, so mabye I'll wire up another 1 to the low speed side and see if that one works

But when I find a belt I'll post up my pics of the bracket. But everyone likes it and I think it will work great. But this winter I'm going to swap in the regal PS pump and clean it up even more

Its like the one up top. It has a resovour (SP) on the pump instead of on the wheel well

I'll be building a low mount alternator bracket and a bracket for the pump. If I get it built and it works good I may have a few more made and sell them, but I'm not 100% sure on that part of it but I will make 1 for me LOL

Right now I'm still hunting for a belt and am flat broke and can't even afford the $30 to even get 1 if I found it
