Those pics are very old (check the date) and I've sinced aimed them correctly and the pattern is much more even. The foglights are not HID...yet. I will be dropping in a matched color HID in the H3's as soon as I scrounge up the money. I have LED in the taillamp brake light areas and something new for the license plate done.

Brian,
Now you got me curious on what's up your sleeve for the license plate. Holla at me and give me some info. I've got all my LED's for all the exterior markers, I just have to take time to install everything. Those new 27 led white towers we were discussing are ridiculously bright. I can't wait to see how well it turns out.

I've got the H3 6000k kit in my foglights (optilux fog replacements). The foglight kit is so friggin bright, its like a UFO landing at night . I'm probably over-emphasizing the difference, but when you go from stock lighting on a LT1 car to a full blown HID setup, it's night and day literally !

Optilux 2500's that can be found at www.rallylights.com . Very nice construction and quality. They use H3 lamps so I had to make something up for my factory connectors to plug in and not cut them. Also, I had to "persuade" the factory brackets to get these where I wanted them. Took me maybe an hr and a half taking my time and not removing the front bumper.

I have a 94 Z with 4300K also from ledgauges.com and all I can say is WOW! Talk about lightning up the night. It was definately worth the $300. I have them only in low beams, I don't think it would be very good for high just for that fact you have to wait a couple of seconds for it to charge to full potential.

Since someone brought this back from the dead.... What sort of wiring is involved in this? I noticed on one of the links their seemed to be some sort of converter box or something??

Wow, this is an old thread. Brian, thanks for answering (HoLLo's) ?'s The optilux kit is very nice for the $. Wiring is pretty straight-forward, only thing I had to cut was the factory harness for the main lights, put a H4 connector on and plugged in the HID setup. Camaro guys, not sure what is different from the firebird harness, but I would assume most things are the same (other than you have no pop-up light module (HCM) ) thats a good thing

The Camaros are different in wiring. It's a all plug and play deal, very nice. For some reason the Firebirds have to be spliced but not the Camaros.

I know this trend is old but just to let you know if you want true H.I.D. lights with ballasts and everything, I got a set of these 6K (white) for $100 plus shipping depending where you live
