Default MSD 6AL with LT1

So I am intending to install the MSD 6AL ignition box and add on the adjustable timing controller so I can run my car with advanced timing but then retard it to spray.

My question is am I going to need any sort of wiring harness for the 6AL or does it hook right in? I've looked a bit and seen harnesses for other vehicles or with aftermarket coils but I haven't had any luck finding an LT1 harness.

Thanks

you don't need a harness, they supply directions on how you can cut the stock wires and splice in the 6al....i have the harness and would recommend it for 25 dollars, just for the fact if it the box craps out on you you can unhook the harness and hook it back up as stock

I made the mistake of cutting my stock wires and now that i went back stock my readings are a little off from what they used to be originally. I would recommend highly. Its easier anyways...plug and play.
