Water in the motor. I think the most common way is blown headgasket.

Pull the plugs then crank it over. Seafoam should come spraying out of the offending cylinder.

Hydrolocked means so much fluid in the cylinder that the motor wont turn over because it can't compress it.

This is why I am hesitant to recommend seafoam on an LT1, the available vacuum fittings are all located so that one or two cylinders are going to get alot and the others almost nothing. A high volume squirt bottle through the TB I believe does a more even job. The engine will run with the boot off the TB so long as the MAF is unplugged, will set a code but no big deal.

Edited my post. I guess since Seafoam got popular, probably the second most common way to hydrolock a motor.

Thanks man- Ill pick up some more plugs on the way home and try to drain the cyliders. I was also hesitant for the same reasons, but a spray bottle being squirted into the brake booster hose was thought to be the way to go. Ill post an update this evening.

if its truly fucked over, i got a motor for sale its not 1500...its quite a bit more but its a bad *** set up and only has 7k miles on it, shoot me a pm if your interested. the price im asking is a steal compared to what it had cost and if you need to rebuilt your motor anyways, this is a better alternative! 7k miles, ready to drop in with plenty of extras. like i said pm me if your interested

Alright, that have seemed to work it started but I have major clatter in my driver side valve cover. It gets worse with higher RPM's. Other than that it sounds pretty good All I can hope for is a bent pushrod or valve, or loose rocker or spring or..................... I dont feel like pulling the cover now, plus its 110 degrees outside

Sorry to hear about that man, I sure hope you can blow it out the plug holes
and get her back up and running.

I thought I had locked mine up a while back, fortunately I got it running again.
I couldn't help but think it was a great excuse to build a forged 355, but a horrible time.
