Question O2 sensor/headder question........

Hey guys, just wondering.....can I install an original style oxygen sensor in a single headder tube? I know I can't use the stock one way down at the collector because it's not a heated sensor. (I don't think) Would this be a bad idea? Has anyone done this?

I'm just trying to save myself a little $$$$$....thats all.

Thanks to anyone with some help.

Joe

They are all Heated Style..you need one on both sides, and you need 02 Extentions.

Really? I did not know that. I was thinking it wasent because it was so close to the head in the manifold.

So, is it ok that I put it in one of the headder tubes so I don't have to buy an extention?

Thanks,

Joe

If it's anywhere in the Manifold..it's a Heated 02 Sensor..
If you don't think so, run the car for a while and grab on to that little ****** and you will find out..
If you have LT's..you will need Extentions.
