obvisously it does, cause A no valve is supposed to be open when the piston is at TDC, which is was. Simply put, The timing was off..

I can believe your timing was off.

If the intake valves were open a lot at TDC you may have bent them. I'd do a leak down!

they arn't bent, the heads have been pulled to double check the valves last week, and it hasn't been fired up since then.
