I thought you said you were in the 40's???? But on your graph at 100% MAP (or WOT) you max out at like 31.5ish.... That is pretty low and you say you are knocking at those values????
My Gen VI DFI was setup much the same way but my max advance at WOT 100% MAP was like 36-38 degrees depending on what I was doing. NA was setup at like 37 degrees. When I went with the 150 shot I turned it down to 32-33 degrees (2 deg per 50hp of nitrous)..... Never had knock with that timing and good gas...
I wouldn't recommend going up to 38 if you are having REAL knock at those values. You could destroy your pistons. I'd say put good gas in it, turn it up to 34 degrees and run it. Where are you seeing knock? Is your PCM recording knock or are you hearing it????? If you put 104 octane in it with those values the same and it still records knock it is false knock guaranteed....

[QUOTE=infinitebird]You can generally set it as high as you want until you start to see knock retard, then back off a few degrees and that's a good setting.
i have knock now at random times but i wont know if its real or not until i put the 104 octane in it. it looks like im well below stock timing for some reason.

Thanks red. What were the mods on that car? Also when you or anybody else is adjusting these tables how do you come up with a value to input in each cell?
