2800-3200 would be good. Typically they run anywhere from 500-800 for a good one.

I really didn't want to get that because they are so expensive and Lloyd Elliot didn't mention anything...
Stock manifold will be fine. Keep in mind, you can't run stock heads with the LT4 manifold, you would have to upgrade to aftermarket castings to do that.

Well, that's good news then. I was thinking that I was going to spend a bunch more money because I would need an LT4 intake manifold. Now, I can just use that money for a stall.

Do you guys suggest getting the Llyod Elliot heads and a different cam, or going with one of his matching cams?

Also, does anyone remember what Gonzo's setup was from f-bodyhideout. He had a maroon trans am that sounded sick.

Matching cam man ... absolutely. Bret Bauer does some kick *** work.

You can also have Lloyd port your stock manifold for a few extra HP
He'll port it to match whatever TB you want to use and match the manifold
to the ported heads. There are pics of mine (and a shopping list of parts on my cardomain site (click sig).

11.90? Do you have like a yank 3800 stall or something? I can't imagine the car trapping more than 113 or so. An 11.9 is a really fast time.

It's not that extreme of a claim really.
I'm pulling 12.2s @ 110 with my fat ***, a full-weight car and a screwed up 10-bolt.
(About 12.0 corrected for DA)
I was pulling those on the 3200stall before I even installed the 4000.

i had a vigilante 3000 stall but it would only give me about 2500, before it gave out on the firsts passes on nitrous, i've just ordered an art carr and we'll see what it does with that stall.btw my trap speed was 114 mph.
