Default Cometic head gaskets

IS anyone running the 4.040 bore cometic heads gaskets on there 355. I am thinking about running it but do not want to have any problems since most head gaskets i see usually have a bigger bore. My compression will be about 11.6:1 with these.

Wouldn't that be a 357????? I don't see a reason why you couldn't.... They make a .040 cometic gasket i'm sure..... it's all about choice. high hp and or power adders and you should be using a good gasket ie cometic....

lol sry its late my typing sucks. I meant to say i am running a 355 and want to use the cometic head gaskets with a 4.040 bore. usually head gaskets have bigger bores like the felpros with a 4.125 i just didn't want to run into any problems. but it looks like i wont so thats for the advice.

I can't see any problem either since your bore is .030. But if 'normal' size is 4.125, why not just run a 4.050 then?
